Use a Computer

The library has public computers with Internet access. This describes what we have and how to use them.

The Newell Public Library offers computers and Internet access for use to the public.   We have four computers with the internet, but only two of the four are capable of MSN.

Any person can easily get on a computer by putting their name on the sign up sheet by the front desk.

Patrons visiting the library may use our computers.  1st grade and over, may be on  the Internet with  a signed  permission form  from a parent/guardian.  Any young person may use the computers for Magic School Bus.

Children may be on the computer for one half hour at a time.  This may vary with discretion of the staff.  School children with homework have will have presidence over any one person.   Adults may have their choice of time as necessary.

This resource is supported by the Institute of Museum and Library Services under the provisions of the Library Services and Technology Act as administered by State Library of Iowa.
