Story Hour

  • Story Hour is a time for children 2 to 5 years old to hear a story and visit about it.  It is held at 10 am on Thursdays. Call library to see if open and having story time during bad/frigid weather.
  • Summer Reading Program
  • This is a time of fun for all -  ages 4 years old to 104 years old.  It is a time that we like to encourage everyone to keep reading all the way through the summer break.  Keeping their minds Reading Togetherchallenged and growing, by challenging them to read a certain number of pages, or for a certain number of hours.  They can register and keep their records to win prizes.

 Summer Library Program

  • The Summer Library Program is different from the reading program.  This is a program for children 4 years old to 2nd grade.  It is a time they can come to the Library and enjoy a good book, maybe some treats, games, and crafts. 


  • There are other special events throughout the year and we always try to give you ample notice.  These free programs encourage everyone to read and become acquainted with the library.
